Pavel Kolpakov graduated from the Kiev State P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (now National Music Academy of Ukraine) as a composer in 1991. Now he lives and works in Kiev.

His compositions were performed at the following International Festivals: Kiev Summer Musical Evenings (Kiev, Ukraine), Kiev-Music-Fest (Kiev, Ukraine); Musical Premieres of the Season (Kiev, Ukraine).

Among the performers of his compositions are National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (Kiev, Ukraine), National Radio Symphony Orchestra (Kiev, Ukraine), Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (Kiev, Ukraine) and others. He is a member of the Ukrainian Composers Union.

Pavel Kolpakov worked with Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and his compositions were performed in various concert halls of Europe and the USA.
